Eight Fresh Hacks to Access your Creativity

Most people who want to cultivate their creativity rely on the same expected techniques, such as a regular routine, class instruction, or group accountability. This workshop instead identifies eight secret side doors into your creativity. Techniques deployed will include Surrealist parlor games, TV writers’ room pitchouts, Jungian dream analysis, technology, meditation, and improv. This workshop caters to all creatives regardless of medium, including but not limited to writers, visual artists, actors, crafters, musical artists, gardeners, etc. This joy-forward workshop will be built around playful in-class exercises and will be guided by the ethos that the world is filled with endless discoveries if we decide it’s going to be.
